Belly Beyond TV Relaunched!
Belly Beyond TV is back in 2012 with great new opening and closing credit graphics (thanks to Nykie @ Noo).
This episode I make good use of my almost-7 year old as she mooches around during the school holidays.
And don't you love the new True Blue ERGObaby Performance colour!

Spotted: Belly Beyond in the NZ Herald
One of our favourite authors and speakers, Debbie Mayo-Smith, has included Belly Beyond in her latest column in the NZ Herald, about using video and YouTube for business.
The video she's linked is one of our first we recorded for Belly Beyond TV, taken over two years ago when my little man wasn't even one! A nice walk down memory lane...

Belly Beyond TV Episode 5
Top 3 tips for starting out on Twitter for the your business and a sneaky peak at the new HOTmilk catalog! (see more tips underneath the vid below)
Tip 1, get your Twitter handle for your business, eg @bellybeyond
Tip 2, Download Tweetdeck or similar. Much easier to manage the Twitterverse
Tip 3, don't broadcast! This applies if you have a product or service (obviously not where your business is specifically about sharing information, eg like the fantastic @babybitesnz). So unless you are Ashton Kutcher or CNN then DO try to interact with the rest of the Twitter world. All sorts of doors will open up! RT peoples tweets that appeal to you and in time people will RT yours. Just like in real life, talk about your business but not all the time!
and extra bonus tip: if you are including a link in a tweet either use www.tinyurl.com (or Tweetdeck) to make it clickable. You only make it hard for people to see what you are talking about by making them copy and past the link into a browser and most won't bother. If in doubt or you have no idea what I'm talking about just include http:// in front of the www :)

Belly Beyond TV - Episode 4
A few friends have recently had babies and it's reminded us of that crazy time when every body wants to descend on you to meet the new addition.
Run these tests in your head before you say "yes" to a guest. Get your significant other to do the vetting if need be!
Good excuses for fobbing off unwanted guests include:
(thanks for our Facebook fans for the suggestions)
- we are just all about to have a sleep (From Kerry)
- baby and mum are resting, perhaps another day (From Gina)
- We are just having a bit of quiet time right now it would be great if we could see you at "x" though! (from Paula)
-I left a note taped to my front door saying that Mum and baby were sleeping, and to please call to make a time to come and visit! While some people knocked anyway, most people did just go home and call! (from Rachel)
- we have swine flu (ok maybe not this one, this is my contribution hehe)

Belly Beyond TV - Episode 3
It's a fantastic idea to work out your Elevator Pitch. We try to continuously work on ours but had two particularly memorable occasions recently; one at a business conference and another in a 140 Pitch for the very on-to-it Glenn Edley (via his posterous blog )
As this episode on Belly Beyond TV shows, we still need to work on ours!
And in a similar vein, also put together a 40 word bio on the company. Short, sharp and stating exactly what you do and perhaps some key product lines if you have room.
Do another one expanding out to 100 words or so. This is really handy to have not only for uploading to directories but also to be able to pass onto media if you get a chance. Make sure it contains an interesting angle, what makes you different from everyone else?
Spend a bit of time on this thinking about what YOU do as a business, what is your mission?

Belly Beyond TV - Episode No. 1
Heidi said right at the very start that we should do our own TV show. I don't know if this is quite what she had in mind but taking inspiration from the brilliant DIY approach from Jayson at Wine Vault TV, we've launched our own channel. I proudly present episode 1 - Belly Beyond TV.
See more on Stickytiki here
p.s. I haven't got the kids shut up somewhere (although sometimes I'd like to), Mr Belly Beyond is in charge in another room ;)
